Jump! Gymnastics in Austin, TX

Jump! Philosophy

Jump! Philosophy

Jump! was opened in April of 2007 by owner, Natalie Egan. Jump! started as a preschool gymnastics school. Natalie was a gymnast since the age of 4 and began coaching gymnastics to pay her way through college. Throughout her time as a gymnast and coach, she realized that there was a gap to be filled in how gymnastics was taught to children.

Currently, gymnastics instruction is limited to two very distinct styles, fun and energetic or strict and disciplined. Natalie created a combined curriculum offering the most beneficial aspects of each style to help your child succeed.

Jump!’s structured, curriculum-driven classes embrace the concepts of skill deconstruction and progression tracking. This half of our curriculum creates the backbone of Jump!’s gymnastics classes. It provides the structure, consistency, discipline, and physical motivation necessary to learn gymnastics skills quickly. It also allows children to move to new skills with confidence.

The second half of our curriculum embraces the fun, energetic playfulness that keeps children begging to come back again and again. Our theme-based curriculum provides a path for their imaginations to run wild, while dissolving the frustrating and often tedious job of learning skills into a playful adventure.
